What is the capacity of the hall?

The F.B.A. Hall can comfortably seat 300 people, however, the Hall is rated for a maximum capacity of 600.

 

Do I have to be a firefighter to rent the hall?

No, the hall is available to the public.

 

What is the deposit policy?

A deposit of $300.00 (not part of the rental fee) serves as a security deposit and “locks-in” the requested date. It also serves as a damage deposit that is returned the first week of the following month as long as the terms of the Event Lease are adhered to.

 

What is the deposit refund policy?

The deposit will only be refunded if we are able to re-book the cancelled date.

 

When is the rental fee due?

Hall rental fee must be paid in full at least 21 days prior to your scheduled event.

 

Who provides security?

A combination of off-duty Tampa Police Officers and our own hall security is used depending upon the type and size of the event.

 

 What is the Hall’s liquor policy?

Though the Hall does not supply beer, wine, or other liquor, we do have set-ups for two kegs, coolers for wine, Champaign, etc, and a commercial ice machine. You may supply your own alcoholic beverages for your event, however, alcoholic beverages will be limited to that which you supply.  No bottled beer is allowed.  Absolutely no alcohol is allowed for events scheduled for minors.  The FBA Hall reserves the right to check the identification of anyone suspected of being underage and drinking alcohol.

 

How many hours does my rental include?

The hall rental is for six hours. Five hours for the event, and one hour for cleanup. Extra rental time may be accommodated at the appropriate rate.

 

When will I have access in order to decorate?

Access to decorate for your event is provided as early as 8:00am on the day of the event.

 

What is the smoking policy?

In an effort to afford our clients with the safest and cleanest environment possible, the F.B.A. Hall has a strict No-Smoking policy within any F.B.A. building. Smoking is, however, permitted outside of the building.
